I was born and raised on a farm and country is in my blood. It was always a joke as I was growing up that if I was ever needed for something a person could find me out helping Dad in the fields or somewhere outside on the farm. I've always been told that I'm a more "down-to-earth" type of person.
I value family and friends and cherish the time and many memories we have made together. I absolutely love it when all of my aunts, uncles and cousins come for the holidays. It's always a joy and it helps keep the family bond strong.
If it wasn't for music and my ability to play trumpet I don't know where I would be today. My life has basically revolved around the band room and the many music activities for the past few years; and somehow I don't see that coming to an end here anytime soon seeing as how my major field of study is in music education.
My faith and relationship with Jesus Christ have been the cornerstones of my life. I have a wonderful church family that has shown me what it means to be a follower of Christ and have helped me along the way when I started to wander from the path. I can always count on them for hugs and words of encouragement.

I just thought I would use this as a way to let people know that you can make comments about the different postings I make on this blog. If you don't have a "blogspot account", like I'm assuming most of you don't, just make sure you click on the circle in front of "Anonymous" before you publish your comment.
Let me know what you think about my crazy antics.
