Getting Caught Up...

I've gotten a bit behind on my posting of pictures and stories and I offer my profound apologies to my family and friends that like to keep tabs on my activity. Here are a few pictures to give you a taste of what has been happening with me and my family, but many more pictures will be found on my flickr account and then you can look at specific pictures by selecting one of the sets along the right side of the screen.

Storm Hockey!!!

This past Friday, February 16th, the band was given the opportunity to attend a Tri-City Storm hockey game. I had an absolute blast!! The team won against Greenbay and we even got to watch a fight. According to my fellow band members, "it's just not a good game without at least one good fight in it."

These are a few of my friends that attended the hockey game. We carpooled together and later that night went bowling. And, no, I just couldn't bring myself to do the facepaint thing. Then I really would have scared the little kids away.

Inbetween games there were always dancing competitions for the crowd. In this photo we were doing the YMCA. As you can see, Stormy, the mascot for Tri-City Storm, came down the steps right next to me and started dancing with me. We got pretty wild and Stormy was really showing off his dance moves. My friend next to me, Kara, thought it was absolutely hilarious. The camera man caught sight of me and Stormy and put us on the big screen dancing. However, I was also shown dancing to the Hokey-pokey as well. You can laugh all you want; everybody in the band thought it was funny, too.
