Getting Caught Up...

I've gotten a bit behind on my posting of pictures and stories and I offer my profound apologies to my family and friends that like to keep tabs on my activity. Here are a few pictures to give you a taste of what has been happening with me and my family, but many more pictures will be found on my flickr account and then you can look at specific pictures by selecting one of the sets along the right side of the screen.

Phi Eta Sigma

April 15 was a very big day for me in more ways than one. It started with a banquet for an induction into Phi Eta Sigma, a National Honor Society at the college level. Considering the number of freshman currently enrolled at UNK, it was a very small percentage of students inducted. This meant a lot to me because it was a way of enforcing my belief that hard work does pay off in the long run. However, what really meant the most was the number of "congratulations" I received and thank-yous for being a good girl and sticking to the right path. The funny thing, I really didn't tell a lot of people about it in the first place but a large number of people know about it now. I know people are looking out for and care about me and I am grateful.
