Getting Caught Up...

I've gotten a bit behind on my posting of pictures and stories and I offer my profound apologies to my family and friends that like to keep tabs on my activity. Here are a few pictures to give you a taste of what has been happening with me and my family, but many more pictures will be found on my flickr account and then you can look at specific pictures by selecting one of the sets along the right side of the screen.

UNK vs. UNO

Here are some pictures from the UNK vs. UNO game. Even though the game didn't turn out like we'd hoped, the halftime entertainment was still top-notch. But, I may a little biased in that opinion. ;-)

This was on the march over to the football field. It was only moments after this picture was taken that some guy in a red shirt jumped out in front of me trying to get me to flinch and break ranks. Yeah, Dr. Schnoor was standing right there and was impressed at how focused I was (he said all I did was blink my eyes). You think he may have put that guy up to it? Hmmm...

The UNK Pride of Plains Marching Band coming onto the field to perform the Pregame Show.

This is actually a really good close-up photo taken from a long ways away. Good job, Dad! This is a position from the Pregame Show.

Here we had just marched to the sideline after forming company fronts.

I had to acknowledge the UNO Band. They gave it their all! It was really good and energetic. However, in my biased opinion, UNK won this battle.

This is the first picture formed for our halftime show. Or what Dr. Schnoor calls the "picture that may end all pictures." Meaning that if that one isn't perfect, then the whole show goes downhill from there.

Can you fine me?

Sheila (my trumpet buddy) and I playing our duet.

The last picture of the show. Or, the grand finale.

The UNK Band marching back to the Fine Arts Building after the football game. This is a "relaxed march".
