Getting Caught Up...

I've gotten a bit behind on my posting of pictures and stories and I offer my profound apologies to my family and friends that like to keep tabs on my activity. Here are a few pictures to give you a taste of what has been happening with me and my family, but many more pictures will be found on my flickr account and then you can look at specific pictures by selecting one of the sets along the right side of the screen.

Labor Day - Catching Up!!!

I'm a few weeks behind on my posts --- so, here's my attempt to get caught up.

Over Labor Day weekend the Miller Family gathered at Duane & Laurie's house to have a relaxing time and celebrate birthdays. It was a great time with video games (of course), hot tubbin' and the lake. This is the first time I recall getting everyone together during Labor Day.

Duane & Jacob playing each other on Wii. I told you before, this game can get intense.

Grant against Shelly. I'm pretty sure Grant won this round.

Duane & Laurie have a golf course in their backyard, literally. It was fun to go out and pretend that I know what I'm doing.

Birthday cake! Jacob, Josh and I all have birthdays within 3 days of each other.

I had 21 trick candles on my cake. Thanks, Shelly! For being a trumpet player, I didn't have nearly enough air to blow them out. While I was trying my hair caught on fire! Eventually, we had to pull the candles out and throw them into a glass of water.

Just cruising on the lake. Duane and Laurie let us all use their boat for some fun on the water.

Tubing was the main event. Here's Jacob showing us his skill.

Nicholas & Tyler loved just playing in the water. After they figured out they could float and wouldn't go underwater, it became even more fun.

Josh even hit the waves on the tube. I was quite impressed! He said it was great!

Nathan enjoyed being on the tube as well. I think he also had the best wipeouts.

After a day at the lake, one tends to get a little tired. Here's Tyler all tuckered out on the drive back to Duane & Laurie's.

Cousins! Aren't they wonderful! Next year we'll have to get everyone together.

There's many more photos from the weekend on my flickr account.
