Aurora "Relay for Life"

The pictures below are from the Cancer Walk that occured in Aurora on June 8th. This was the first time that I stayed late enough to get in on the Memorial Service. It was really a nice evening.




When it was finally dark enough they started lighting the luminaries that outlined the entire downtown square. The candle in each individual luminary was to symbol the light that each person had shown even though they suffered from cancer. Family and friends were very creative in the ways they presented the lives of their loved one. It was a very moving and emotional evening.
